Quiet anticipation... can you feel it?
The joy of anticipation contrasting with the unease of the unknown and the not quite yet. Cold and icy darkness is easy to endure when you know the warm light of day is coming. Patient waiting brings the most beautiful times and endurance through the night will eventually bring the light of day. I have vivid memories of my Grandfather, a Pearl Harbor survivor and a man acquainted with suffering singing an old hymn "weeping may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning!" When trials come and when the wait seems long remember that the longer the wait and the colder your night the sweeter your sunrise will be.
Psalm 30:5... Joy comes in the morning.
