Perseverance

The most beautiful images may be the ones hiding the most difficulty. The most joyful people may have suffered quietly and you will never know. The image above does not advertise the hours long drive to arrive at the site or the cold pouring rain that left me completely soaked while perched on a muddy bank for over an hour of shooting hoping not to fall in. The final image only shows the final beauty of the scene. Romans 5:3-4 reminds us that suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope. When you go through difficult times be thankful for what it will produce in you rather than having despair in the moment. Let the rain fall around you even if you have to stand in the mud and when the process is complete all anyone will see is a beautiful life.

Romans 5:3-4... suffering to hope.
