Reflections

Perfect reflections of beauty. Mirror images that are not the subject itself but serve to highlight the beauty of the subject. Only in the calmest of conditions and when light is present can this perfection occur. The trees and the mountains, the grass and the clouds, it all appears on the surface of the water but can instantly be shaken with the slightest breath of wind disturbing the surface.

In life we are a reflection of what is in our heart and this reflection shows most vividly when our heart is calm. Seek out quiet places where God can bring you peace. Choose faith over fear and calm over chaos. We are not the main subject but we are called to be a reflection of the One who is.

Proverbs 27:19 - "As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects man."
